In light of the World Environment Month celebration, BoardPAC set the initiative to distribute plants and packs of seeds to the team members encouraging domestic gardening and environment conservation. The event was held under the global theme for World Environment Day 2022, “Only One Earth”.
Each team member was entrusted with either a plant or a pack of seeds by the Chief Guest, the CEO, the COO and the heads of the divisions, respectively. The team members pledged to carry out their individual and collective roles to conserve the earth and raise awareness of its significance.
Present at the occasion was Mr Chamara Ariyathilaka, the CEO of the Sri Lanka Climate Fund, who highlighted the recent achievement of BoardPAC qualifying as a Carbon-neutral company, the positive impact the BoardPAC solution has had on the world, saving millions of trees globally and the commendable constant effort set forth by the organisation to preserve the planet Earth.
