The Annual Conference 2022 of The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA)<\/a> in Malaysia fell under the theme of, \u201cChallenging the challenges in governance.\u201d The keynote speaker was YBhg Datuk Nor Azimah Abdul Aziz, the CEO of Companies Commission of Malaysia and 25 other speakers from local and international entities spoke on related subjects like Malaysian regulatory updates, roles of company secretaries in governance issues, development trends and many more.<\/p>\n

The 12th Premier Corporate Governance Conference conducted by the Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa broached on the concept of, \u201cGovernance in a time of corruption – Cleaning up our act,\u201d which spurred a succession of discussions on the action plan of corporate governance in the Southern African sphere. One of the central highlights of the event was the BoardPAC\u2019s National Sales Manager – South Africa, Jeanne Greeff\u2019s presentation to the delegates on, \u201cstaying ahead of the board: Managing people and time efficiently in a fast-paced and unsecure environment.\u201d<\/p>\n
