Therefore, BoardPAC commits for global corporate success during the COVID-19 Pandemic via video-enabled board meetings to help remote attendance.<\/p>\n<p>Recently India\u2019s Business Standard newspaper published; \u201cCOVID-19: Ministry of Corporate Affairs MCA eases attendance rules for board meetings till June 30. Relaxation allows directors to attend via audio-visual means even for approval of financial statements and the board&#8217;s report. A director attending a meeting via video conferencing or other audio-visual means is to be counted for the purpose of quorum.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) recently stated that listed entities may use technology as a means to comply and undertake board meeting virtually.
