Building boards that inspire investor confidence and create lasting value was the focus of the 2026 Directors’ Conclave & 36th IOD Annual Day in New Delhi. Hosted by the Institute of Directors, India, the gathering brought together directors, regulators and business leaders to discuss the changing responsibilities of board leadership.
BoardPAC supported the event as a Bronze Partner. Held under the theme “Making Boards More Effective for Investor Confidence & Sustainable Value Creation,” the conclave explored how boards can prepare for a changing business landscape.
Among those present were Tuhin Kanta Pandey, Chairman of SEBI; Nehal Vora, Managing Director and CEO of CDSL; and Shachindra Nath, Founder and Managing Director of UGRO Capital.
Discussions on “Future-Ready Boards, Capability, Culture & Sectoral Foresight” examined the capabilities and perspectives needed to guide businesses through change. “The ESG Inflection Point: From Reporting to Responsibility” turned attention to how environmental, social and governance commitments are put into practice.
Reflecting on the gathering, Yoganand Ghatge, Senior Business Manager (Sales) at BoardPAC, described it as “a meaningful day of conversations, insights and connections”.
“Boards need the right information and a way to work together to make good decisions. At BoardPAC, we want to make that easier for them.” he noted.
For BoardPAC, the gathering provided an opportunity to connect with leaders from across India’s corporate sector and hear their perspectives on the needs of modern boards. The discussions also reflected the company’s focus on helping directors access information, communicate clearly and work together in making decisions.
“Being part of conversations that shape the future of board governance was truly inspiring,” Ghatge added.
