BoardPAC joins the Chartered Governance Institute (ICSA), Sri Lanka Branch to organize the’ Good Governance Forum 2020’

Good governance been at the helm of discussion in Sri Lanka and as well globally. BoardPAC and the Chartered Governance Institute, Sri Lanka branch held its first event for the year 2020 with the hope of many timelier forums for governance professionals in all leading corporates in Sri Lanka.

‘Good Governance Forum 2020 – Corporate Governance in the Digital Age’ keynote speaker, Asite Talwatte, Chairman at Management systems (Private) Limited, former Country Managing Partner at EY and former President at Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka provided valuable insights at the themed forum. The forum discussed how organisations need good governance to be sustainable, legal and successful, not just for the benefit of shareholders, but for their stakeholders and for the good of the wider society too. Governance enables the management team and the board of directors to run their organizations effectively by providing the system of accountability, decision making and control.
